Electric Bicycle Special E-BIKE CAFE 'MOTO GO! in Limited Edition
Electra , the US manufacturer of bicycles now also electric, always very attentive to the trends in the world of two wheels, presents an intriguing novelty for 2019: Cafè Moto GO! Loosely inspired by the Café Racer bikes that first appeared on British roads in the mid-1960s and now enjoying new popularity, Electra's pedal assisted bicycle with its undeniable retro charm follows its style and philosophy. The Cafè Race r bikes were lightened by all those components that made them heavy shapes and lines, they had to look agile and snappy like racing bikes but in reality they were vehicles with limited power that made a fine show of themselves in front of the coolest clubs in London. and in other English cities. Only sporadically did the owners compete in speed races and then discuss them in front of the entrance to their favorite club. Today, Café Racers enjoy a new popularity that often crosses the boundaries of the motorcycle world after a period of decline during the 1990s.
Retro charm in Sixties style
The Café Racer philosophy has been declined very faithfully from Electra than with Café Moto GO! offers a limited edition pedal assisted bicycle, two hundred pieces for Europe starting from spring 2019 , simple in lines but elegant and sporty at the same time, embellished with inconspicuous but quality components that border on luxury, faithful to the style of British motorcycles from the 1960s. Electra Café Moto GO! it is assembled around an aluminum frame with a massive front but with fine lines. The advancement of the bottom bracket shell and the relative cranks is respectful of the Flat Foot Technology by Electra philosophy which facilitates pedaling thanks to the erect torso, the high arms and the stretching of the legs forward, during the pushing action.
Start & GO!
Electra Café Moto GO! it was equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX electric motor (250 watts of power, 75 Nm of torque) which assists pedaling up to a speed of 25 km per hour. The 500-watt PowerTube battery is integrated into the generous down tube of the frame, while the on-board computer is the Bosch Purion which manages the four driving modes ( ECO, Tour, Sport, Turbo ). The braking system is ensured by a pair of Hayes Prime hydraulic disc brakes and sturdy Crankbrothers pedals ensure stability in the saddle, while the transmission is managed by the NuVinci Enviolo system at the rear hub, with a silent and no-need Gates carbon belt. maintenance, unlike what happens with traditional metal link chains. An essential but refined assembly is completed by the front light with its switch in the upper part but above all by the very elegant Brooks saddle in leather equipped with a tool bag and integrated rear light also by Brooks .
